AirFreedom began as a dream fuelled by passion, experience, and an unwavering desire to redefine hospitality. My journey started in hotel management, where I dedicated myself to creating memorable guest experiences. But as life brought me to a new home with a riverfront view and charming balcony, the realisation dawned that I wasn’t fully utilising this beautiful space. This sparked a thought: What if I could help others make the most of their spaces? What if I could merge my expertise with a fresh concept?

Thus, AirFreedom was born. Initially, it was a gradual transition. For five years, I managed the business alongside my full-time hotel management role. The aim was not just to grow but to grow sustainably. Today, AirFreedom is far more than a property management company. We proudly define ourselves as hospitality business developers.

A Unique Approach to Hospitality

AirFreedom is not about managing hundreds of properties. Instead, we strive to stay local, personal, and deeply invested in quality. Each of the 11 brands we manage in South Wales reflects our commitment to providing high-quality service and delivering truly unique experiences.

Guests staying in our properties gain access to a wealth of personalised tips and advice through our guest areas. These recommendations come directly from Alina and me, offering insights only a local can provide. Whether it’s the best independent restaurants in Pontcanna or hidden gems in Newport, we tailor the experience to ensure every guest feels at home.

Beyond Apartments: The Future of AirFreedom

While we currently manage apartments and houses, AirFreedom’s vision goes far beyond that. We’re open to working with hotels, bed and breakfasts, hostels, and apart-hotels. My personal passion lies in concept development—helping others transform properties into thriving businesses with character and charm.

Whether it’s assisting someone in setting up a countryside Georgian villa, a boutique bed and breakfast, or a cosy hostel, we bring a layer of personality that makes each property stand out. From designing tailored guest experiences to creating efficient systems for operations, our goal is to turn any property into a memorable destination.

The Strength of Experience

My journey in hospitality began at 19 when I set up a hostel. From there, I managed pubs, restaurants, and hotels, refining my skills in customer service, operations, and revenue management. These experiences equipped me with the tools to tackle challenges, from struggling reputations to occupancy issues.

What sets AirFreedom apart is the precision and care we bring to every project. When I visit a property for the first time, I create a technical file—an exhaustive document containing every piece of information I might need. This allows us to provide seamless service, even during unexpected situations.

We also leverage technology and industry knowledge to streamline processes. From channel managers to guest communication systems, every aspect of AirFreedom is designed to operate efficiently and scale healthily.

Looking Ahead

While AirFreedom has grown steadily since 2018, our vision for the future remains ambitious. My dream is to expand beyond the UK and establish unique hospitality projects in Portugal or other parts of the world. I want to create spaces where guests feel connected to the local culture, where every stay tells a story, and where hospitality becomes an unforgettable experience.
