Does it cost anything to join Local Connections?
No. There are no fees and we take no commission on anything our guests buy from you.
Who can join?
Independent businesses near our homes in Cardiff, Newport, Cwmbran and Taff's Well: cafés, bakeries, shops, guides, workshops and everyday services a guest might need. We visit before featuring anyone.
Do I have to offer guests a discount?
No. A welcome is optional. Some partners offer a treat or a discount; others simply welcome our guests.
What do you ask in return?
Just to look after our guests as you would anyone. If you're happy to, share our launch post so your customers meet us too.
Can I recommend a business that isn't mine?
Yes, please. Use the form on this page and tell us who to contact.
How is Local Connections different from Trusted Partners?
Local Connections is for guests and covers independent local businesses. Trusted Partners is our separate list of suppliers and trades we recommend to property owners.
