In the previous chapter, I shared the sting of that email – the moment we were told that AirFreedom, the name we had built with heart and soul, had to be abandoned.

It was a gut punch, a moment of disbelief and heartbreak.

But it was also the turning point where our story began to change direction.

Because when you find yourself staring down a challenge too great to face alone, the right support can make all the difference. For us, that support came in the form of Michael Tennant and Tennant IP in Newport.

Enter Tennant IP: A Local Ally in a Global Battle

Trademark disputes aren’t just intimidating; they’re overwhelming.

As a small business, it felt impossible to stand against the legal muscle of a global platform. But then came Michael – not a faceless firm in some far-off city, but a local intellectual property specialist right here in South Wales.

From the very first conversation, Michael offered more than legal expertise. He offered reassurance. He listened, understood the weight the name AirFreedom carried for us, and treated it with the respect it deserved.

Where we saw an ending, he saw the chance for a new beginning.

Expertise That Steadied the Ship

Tennant IP didn’t just tell us what had to be done; they walked us through the process step by step. They explained the legalities in plain English, helped us understand our rights, and most importantly, showed us how to turn compliance into opportunity.

Rather than clinging to a name we could no longer protect, Michael guided us towards building something stronger:

a new identity with the protection, resilience, and strategic vision we needed for the future.

That guidance transformed our fear into focus.

Instead of spiralling into uncertainty, we had a clear plan. And with that plan, we had hope.

More Than Legal Advice

What struck me most was that Tennant IP never treated us as just another case.

They recognised how personal this was. The loss of AirFreedom wasn’t just about branding; it was about letting go of something deeply meaningful.

Michael balanced professionalism with empathy, giving us both the hard truths and the encouragement we needed.

In those moments when it all felt too much, he reminded us that setbacks can be the foundations for something greater.

Building Guesture Together

With Tennant IP by our side, we didn’t just survive a legal challenge – we began the journey of shaping Guesture. Their expertise ensured our new brand would be secure, distinctive, and future-proof.

But their role went beyond paperwork and filings.

They became a partner in resilience, a reminder that business is never built alone. Behind every strong brand, there are people who steady you when the storm hits. For us, Tennant IP were exactly that.

Gratitude in Every Chapter

Looking back, I know we couldn’t have navigated that chapter without Michael and his team. Their support didn’t just protect us legally – it gave us the confidence to move forward with purpose.

In business, we often talk about independence and vision, but the truth is that strength often comes from collaboration. Guesture exists today not just because of our determination, but because of the expertise and guidance of people who believed in us when we most needed it.

This chapter of our story belongs to them as much as it does to us.

In the next chapter, I’ll share how we shaped the new identity of Guesture – not just a name, but a brand built with care, strategy, and the lessons we learned along the way.
